Jer does web development with a bachelors in Communications from Concordia University in Montreal under his arm.
His primary field is PHP/XHTML/CSS development using the Wordpress platform to build websites using existing, modified and custom plugins and themes. He also does integration between open source PHP platforms but mostly leans on his Wordpress skills.
He believes pretty strongly that Open Source (and Free Software) is the way to go for a lot of reasons. He tries to fix things for the greater good when he can, but he’s not always confident that his original code is worth releasing to the public.
He works on some different contracts sometimes but mostly on http://globalvoicesonline.org, where he is in charge of code and design.
