Drupal Camp Montreal

About

DrupalCamp Montreal 2011 is the 4th annual conference organized by the Drupal community in Montreal and beyond. The purpose of this and most DrupalCamps is to bring together like-minded members of the Drupal community to share knowledge, network, socialize, drink beer, etc.
The first DrupalCamp in Montreal was a success with about 60 participants coming together around an open-space meeting format. This year we expect over 200 attendees, and will augment the open-space concept with planned sessions and suggested BOFs.

Online registrants will be charged $20 at the door. Attendees who register on the day will be charged $25. Please make sure you register online now.

Just a few days prior to the Camp with be a multilingual code sprint led by Gabor Hojtsy. This will be held at the Notman House on September 14-16, 2011. For more information on this sprint, please see the g.d.o event post.

Venue and Sessions

McGill University’s McIntyre Medical Building will be the venue for our event. Like last year, we will have 3 large rooms accommodating over 150 people each for sessions. There will be 4 smaller rooms available for break out sessions and BOFs.

Once registered, you will be able to propose sessions and BOFs. You may suggest as many sessions as you like. Voting will open closer to the date. If you see a session you like, vote for it. If you don’t see a session that you want to have, volunteer to run it (or find someone else who will)! If you have an awesome idea at the last minute, suggest a BOF once the Camp starts. Organizers will narrow down the list of sessions to the most popular choices, and post a final schedule in the weeks leading up to the Camp.
